At last, the big-city newspaper coverage we've been hoping for. You might also want to check out the comments people are posting on this article. (Word of caution, however; some of the comments either miss the point, are ignorant at best, or are offensive at worst -- such is life in the online atmosphere.)
More to come later on this Wednesday's hearing in Annapolis on Senate Bill 354.

Hello, I read the article in today's Post about Lindsay Harvey's unnecessary murder. I am so furious about this and would like to do something. Do you suggest I write a letter to my state rep? Do you think that would help? Any other suggestiosn? I want to make sure this bill is passed. Thank you.
I was a student of Lindsay's and I appreciate your work on getting this bill passed.
She was a great teacher and her death was tragic and should not have happened.
I will do everything I can to get the word out and try to help pass this bill.
Thanks so much, both of you. Yes, please write to your state reps in the Md. House of Delegates and the state Senate, especially if they happen to be on either the House or Senate Judiciary Committee. If you don't know who your state reps are you, can type your address in at this website:

We need all the support we can get. This legislation is far from guaranteed to pass.
One other thing... I have a flier that I've been trying to make copies of and distribute all over the place urging people to support the legislation currently before the House of Delegates and State Senate. If either of you would like me to send that to you, you can email me at dudoff@justice4safety.org and I will reply back with a Word attachment of the flier that you can make copies of and distribute.
Thank you for your support.
